Sunflower

Sunflower Mammoth Greystripe was planted in a new round bed. I had planted 10, thinned to 5 then the rabbits thinned them to a mere 2 when wonderful husband thought he was being helpful by removing the protective wire. Needless to say, the wire is back and I  have my eye on Mr rabbit who is living under the garden shed for now. Mr. Rabbit, you are officially on probation.

This one came from spilled bird seed.

They make great cutting flowers. The gold finches are already finding them. I love those cheeky little birds and they love my sunflowers.
